Career Cards act as central navigation points for your career exploration journey.
Every Career Card on the system contains all the information we have available on that career, including video profiles of real people who have that career, a description of the responsibilities and tasks that fall under that career, and lists of all the skills, knowledge and abilities that you should have to excel in that career field. Additionally, the card also becomes a central hub connecting you to helpful resources such as:
- Free in-portal online learning that provides training for some of the skills that would be important for that career
- Links to many local college, university and private training courses, programs, and certifications that can help you obtain that career
- A full list of all the current job postings on the site available right now for positions in that career
Finally, with our discernment and discovery tools, you can compare your current skills and aptitudes to those needed for the career to see if it's a good fit for you!
